The workshop will be conducted by Umair Badeeu. Umair is currently studying for this final year of first degree in Photojournalism at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Prior to this, he worked as a photographer in the Maldives, and has been exploring the medium for the last eight years. At his most recent trip to South America, he lived with, and photographed Bolivian farmers in different regions of the country. This work was published in Jallalla, a Bolivian magazine. Umair is happy to have a chance to share his experience of photography with other aspiring Maldivian photographers.
